À l’occasion de la soirée « Get on the ship » de l’ESCP Europe à Paris, faisant référence à l’Arche de Noé, nous avons demander, via une interface web, à chaque invité d’enregistrer au préalable son numéro de téléphone et sa photo, dans un but inconnu. Les informations recueillies sur l’interface étaient en réalité utilisées par un algorithme servant à générer des binômes de manière aléatoire. A 21 heures chaque personne recevait sur son smartphone la photo de son binôme qu’il devait retrouver pendant la soirée, afin « d’embarquer sur le bateau ». C’est ainsi qu’un énorme jeu de pistes avec 500 participants se mit en place et généra de nombreuses rencontres inattendues.
On the occasion of the evening « Get on the Ship » of ESCP Europe in Paris, reffering to Noah’s arch, we have asked all guests, via a web interface, to register beforehand their phone numbers, and their pictures for an unknown purpose. The collected informations on the interface were in reality used by an algorythm serving to generate pairs in a random way. At 09 pm, each person would receive on his smartphone the picture of his or her pair who she or he will find during the evening, in order to “board the ship”. Thus, a big treasure hunt with 500 participants took place and lead to many unexpected encounters.
